I think this is a wonderful idea. I enjoy the emails - and real mail. I am also in the process of (slowly) divesting from IG. I've not posted in over a year, I have had it off my phone for 6 months (I check it only on desktop) but I am also attempting to get rid of it completely. I'm worried about losing touch with certain people, and I'm also sad to not see the beautiful things that people are making... but I do think the internet is dying in many ways and I just don't want to support that gaggle of spineless morality-devoid billionaires any more in any way. I'm on the screen far too much for work, anyway, and I want more time making stuff and writing on paper. I want to send packages in the mail (there's one on the way to you as we speak, now that our postal service here is back to normal!)
i've been thinking about it, and i think i like the emails from substack. one less feed for me to check, and one step above snail mail.....if you want me to see something, you can email me! perfect system
